The Fearsome Distance Between What We Say and What We Mean , Cotton rag paper and foam core, 2011, 2018 (video and alternate placement of frames)

A six panel installation of 40’’ x 60’’ drawings backed by foam core and held together with custom built frames. Sections were cut out of each panel with an exacto knife and they were hung from the ceiling at specific distances so each drawings and motifs would interact with the one behind it. Images would repeat, become distorted, get larger or smaller, or obscure shameful realities.
